Douglas DC-8-53 TU-TCP 'light green with rivets - double layer' No.67

ACT-62-67
No 67/75
CHF 50,00

Description

This Douglas DC-8 was built in 1960 as a DC-8-32/33 version and delivered to UAT carrying registration F-BJLB. After three years of operation for UAT, it changed to UTA in 1963, following the merger between UAT and TAI. Ship 83 was converted to a DC-8-53 version in 1965. In summer 1975 the aircraft was leased to TAE – Trabajos Aéreos y Enlaces as EC-CMT. Air Afrique took over MSN 45568 in 1979 where it was registered as TU-TCP. In 1985 this aircraft made its way to Zurich Airport where it was used for training purposes until it was dismantled in 2014. Six years later in 2020 we got our hands on a small piece of this DC-8 and are now able to preserve this well-known ZRH icon as an aircrafttag.

You buy exactly the aircrafttag with the specified number that you see in the item description. We have photographed the front and the back, as well as the side profile. This way there are no surprises and therefore these items cannot be returned.
