Herpa
1:500 diecast model
As part of a complete revision of its brand, Icelandair presented a new livery in early 2022. Gone are the blue belly and the yellow engine nacelles. Nevertheless, the new livery adds new colors to the fleet: five variable tail color stripes symbolize different natural phenomenon of Iceland. Following the first two releases in 1/500, Max 8s with cyan and yellow stripes, the first long-fuselage 737 Max 9, this time with a magenta-colored stripe, is now released. According to the airline, the color magenta “signifies the collective creative power of Iceland, with just a hint of sunrise”.
