This set features a pair of WWII jet-powered foes: The Gloster Meteor F.1, which was the Allies' only operational jet fighter; and the ancestor to modern cruise missiles, the German V-1 flying bomb. The former was used to intercept the latter, which were launched against London in the final stages of WWII. The kit of the Meteor includes transparent nacelle panels to enable viewing of the Rolls-Royce Welland engines while the simple V-1 kit includes parts for a transport dolly.
