Herpa

1:200 diecast model

Only a short time after resuming flight operations in 1955, the new Deutsche Lufthansa AG orders first Boeing 707s for long-haul services, but for its short- and medium-haul operations decided in favor of the then latest version of the Vickers Viscount, equipped with weather radar and powerful propeller turbines. Delivered in 1961 as the tenth out of eleven Viscounts purchased, D-ANAC later still received the “fried-egg” livery with the yellow circle on the blue rudder which was introduced in 1968, before being sold off in 1971.
